The term being used has been 'climate change' for a long time, and for a reason.
People seem to struggle with the idea that as the climate is effected more by our activities (or not by our activities), that there will be greater and more violent swings in the weather. More freak floods, cold snaps, heat waves etc.
It's not simply just 'it's slightly warmer/cooler'.
Most posters here have known this point for a while, but it's convenient to ignore it I guess.
