I absolutely agree that govt should invest in alternative energy...

I absolutely agree that govt should invest in alternative energy sources....and that the environment is VIP but the flawed arguments used to prop-up carbon emissions trading need to be shot down. It's a major selfishness to say: spend $50 billion to reduce carbon "pollution" (what??? I've made of carbon!!) because I'm under threat from gloabl warming rather than spend that money on feeding the poor (yuck...who cares...they don't affect ME.)
