No jopo you should not disregard the source. But understanding something doesn't involve only selecting the bits of data that support your egotistical position. Look at the entirety of the data, don't dismiss some as doctored by evil conspiring scientists and then use the same sources when it suits you.
Who you are doesn't stand on whether you are right or wrong on climate change. Which is just as well, because you aren't right on this one.
As your grandmother said, the truth is easy. It doesn't involve arguing daily on a chat site, nor ignoring most of the work and understandings of tens of thousands of scientists.
