Hi Cedar Re Piers Corbyn and other planets warming. That was one reason I found the latest AGW outburst (over the past few years) so laughable. The other was the Medieval Warm Period. Both of these things the believers have sought to avoid. The solar system warming noticed on other planets has been ignored and the MWP has been downplayed to that of a "local" warming.Unfortunately, not all evidence points to it being a local phenomenon. The real clue to the scamminess of the scam is that there was never any discussion of the pros and cons of warming. Of course the are advantages to a warmer Earth ie. longer growing seasons, more atmospheric moisture, more arable land etc. If there had been a discussion earlier on along those lines I may not have spotted it for a scam so soon but since it reared its ugly head it has been full on wall to wall doom with everything tied into it. That's when it appeared as a psychosocial phenomenon to me and not a solely scientific question. After that waffle, glad you enjoyed the vid!
