This site was created by John Cook. I'm not a climatologist or a scientist but a self employed cartoonist and web programmer by trade. I did a Physics degree at the University of Queensland and while I achieved First Class Honours and could've continued onto a PhD, I instead quit academia and became a professional scrawler. Too much doodling in lectures, I think. Nevertheless, I've pursued a keen interest in science and if anything, found my curiosity about how the world works increased once I wasn't forced to study for impending exams.

SO....Here is a good start.... I am afraid that the 97% has always been a con by John Cook from U.Q.

I note the list of media provided.
Not much there that can be trusted under the CRAAP method, some very seriously biased and ideological sources there.
Any News Ltd publication must be discounted as Rupert is a major shareholder in Genie Oil along with his good friend Baron Rothschild and also has major investments in Oil and Gas worldwide, and he sets the tone of his media organisation, as the British Government determined, he is not a fit person to run a media organisation
Richard Tol did do his own assessment - came up with 95% , so interesting you include him or did you miss that
You may wish to dig deeper, there have been further studies done , at least a dozen by different groups and the last ones covering thousands of papers came up with only a handful of papers that did not agree , they however didn't stand up to verification, however they shared authors so the total of scientists (not just papers) ended up being in the order of 99.9%
