Ocean Circulation Plays Important Role in Transporting Heat to Greenland Glaciers

ScienceDaily (Mar. 28, 2011) — Warmer air is only part of the story when it comes to Greenland's rapidly melting ice sheet. New research by scientists at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) highlights the role ocean circulation plays in transporting heat to glaciers.

Lapdog, I always wonder that the warm ocean currents that flow over undersea vents would flow towards glaciers causing them to melt.

I do believe in climate change,as in the last million years, I do believe that carbon tax is nothing more than a scam for Governments ,the U.N. and Al Gore and Co. to make obscene amounts of money without changing the climate one bit, or should I write one degree.

The world's increasing population explosion is more of worry than Climate change.

    cheers,

    sypaladin
