Is this thread still going? Why cannot some recognise that they're being scammed?

The CO2 tax is gone. No government will ever be stupid enough to try and introduce one again, nor will voters again fall for the argument that a tax can "save the planet".

Over the past decade we've been warned of apocalyptic consequences - that Brisbane and Perth's dams would be dry by now, never to refill, that Himalayan glaciers would soon be gone, that polar icecaps will soon be gone, that Pacific islands were disappearing before our eyes.

All demonstrable lies. The carpetbaggers spreading the alarm are the same ones whose careers or funding depend on perpetuating fear. The wheels have well and truly fallen off the global warming gravy train. The realisation has dawned that variance in global climate today is caused by exactly the same factors which have been influential for billions of years - and it's not Toyotas!
