No, it is not getting harder and harder to be a sceptic, in fact, it is becoming easier.
As the years go by and we have no warming. As the years go by and we have more ice. More snow that we can poke a stick at. Full dams. Wonderful weather. Fewer hurricanes/cyclones and the like.
It becomes far easier to say -- hang on here. With this rise in CO2 we should be all cookin - we should be ice free, no snow - no sking, dry dusty dams, cyclones and hurricanes to give you a really bad hair day.
Instead - we have a comfortable environment in which we can sit down and read about the latest manipulation stories of data and records that attempt, but fail, to convince us that we are in the middle of a climatic disaster.
We watch as story after story after story comes on record removal, record manipulation, emails between scientists that are clearly conspiratorial. Along with this we spice up our day by rolling on the floor laughing at scientists running ships to the Antarctic and having to abandon those ships because they got stuck in ice.
We also are amused by the fact that the USA has record food crop production and far from starvation being a problem - the problem is there is so much food they cannot handle the logistics of harvest and transport - and of course, the price is dropping because of bumper crops.
So, it isn't getting harder to be a sceptic.
What is harder is not being able to understand how so many people - including some smart people, who cannot recognise clear signs of a giant snow job being done on them.
What is hard to believe is how, as they change their arguments to suit their purpose, and run around looking for the 'heat' that MUST be here, but, we can't find it - what is amazing is they seem to have zero insight into that they are in fact doing that.
They lumber from alarmist point to point - and when that fails, they scramble around frantically to see why they were wrong - in other words - looking for an excuse and looking for a cobbled together reason to say, why they are right in their belief, but, just the odd facts don't fit. And some of those facts just happen to be doozies - against the belief. The holy grail of warmists is missing in action --------- HEAT. Where is it, it isn't here, it isn't there, it must be hiding. We are sure it will appear - just give us another 15 or 25 years, you will see!
Whilst, exactly like a religion, their belief overshadows most fact, they continue to believe in the story - rather than what is happening right in front of their eyes.
How long away is the day when we are given a published list of what the IPCC does NOT include in the body of evidence?
I would say about as long as it takes for a religion to release what they DON'T use in their books of faith.
A bloody long time.
As the world would have benefited greatly to see what was NOT included in religious books - so individuals could have clarity ---------- it would benefit the world greatly to see what the IPCC did NOT choose as it did NOT suit the narrative.
