Getting on the renewable treadmill where we have to constantly renew the hardware in each generation..
And still won't be able to guarantee supply 24/7/365 with out costly expensive upgrades to fix a problem only manifested itself when soalr & wind started coming on line.
The cost to remedy should be planted firmly in the renewable court...or they guarantee grid stability 24/7/365 (not 2 minutes with a fast battery that runs out of puff)
Just build a nuclear power station (in less than 10 years) & last a number of generations
