    i agree but that leads to more questions.

    Do we model these natural variations? Was this specific pause predicted by the models?

    What is the natural variation responsible in this case?

    If we dont know what causes it , the magnitude of it or the timing of it how do we know it (or the absence of it) didn't cause some/most of the melting observed in prior record low and prior trend in previous periods?
