The historical record does show very marked periods of warming and cooling repeatedly but always within limits. The peaks and troughs created reverse direction just as steeply as they were beforehand only in the other direction.

A hint for you - it is called the carbon cycle acting in concert with the solar cycles.

In this way the Minoan warming and Roman warmings did not go on endlessly but reversed direction. If we start looking at records since either of those times there is no warming trend at all. From Minoan times a distinct cooling trend remains in place. Very inconvenient truth for you of course.
