The biggest joke is that humans think they can control climate change. That is what the climate does; it changes. Also there is the commercialisation of a carbon scheme designed to ease the conscience of lunatics. You can create carbon but you can offset your supposed damage by buying carbon credits from a third world country who planted some trees or the like. How does that actually support carbon reduction? The absurdity of it all leaves me in despair.
