The weather yes; normal no longer exists - anywhere. The better indicator though is what the wildlife is doing and where they're going as a result. Worst of all at a micro level is the sudden absence of insects in some parts of the world, inc Australia, are tell. Similar to your example of people's observations, you would find it difficult now to find a naturalist, biologist or amateur scientist observer that would deny that natural world has gone off course to some degree. And there's nothing humorous about that , other than the brickies laborer come internet scientist at the pub bar telling you that nothing has changed, and everything is just tickety-boo.
