Kimberley Diamond Company to-day announced that some 4320 diamonds recovered from the first 5weeks of mining operations on the Ellendale 9 pipe, were sold earlier this week for a total of US $575,480 (A$1,056,000) at an average price of US$133/carat.
The mine will be officially be opened by the WA Premier Dr Geoff Gallop, on Sunday, 1st of September 2002. NEWS,via National On-Line Trading.
