For those interested, the LIT ETF holdings reported for 15th June are now in.
AFAIK these actually represent the holdings as per the prior day (but not certain of this).
I have compiled the following table, which shows a few key things:
- All the current/latest reported holdings of the LIT ETF
- Holdings apparently due to be sold down and removed (red font) due to their removal from the Solactive Global Lithium Index as per their latest rebalance info
- New holdings (green cells) recently added (due to their addition to the Solactive index in the rebalance, although I haven't checked all of these yet)
- Change in number of shares held by the ETF from 3rd June to 15th June (far right column)
Interestingly, there has been a significant recent sell down across the board!! Even TSLA!
From the data I have found, it appears that the LIT ETF has sold big chunks of several stocks between the 12th and 15th June, likely exacerbating the carnage we saw yesterday(?).
If they are indeed going to sell out of the various stocks indicated, including AGY, I suspect they will do so in a methodical manner as they have done with their accumulation iirc. We'll see.
I'l try to keep track of these numbers as the weeks roll on, to see how they transition to the new index composition and what those adjusted weightings are.
BTW, the 12,122,381 AGY shares held aligns perfectly with the remainder of that large sell order after the auction closed yesterday!!! Will post screenshot below.
