Witness the destruction of once great industrial American cities as globalisation turns them into ghost towns. Even in downtown Detroit, there are empty skyscrapers....
This video is just a TINY fraction of insane amount of buildings that globalisation destroyed in Detroit. Historical buildings are falling apart leaving nothing for the next generations to admire.
How did it happen? Big American companies sent millions of American jobs to low-wage lands like China and Mexico. This turned Detroit into a ghost town, shrank the US economy, prolonged the 2007 Recession, and forced 34 million US families to rely on USDA Food Stamps to avoid starvation.
If that can happen to once-thriving Detroit, globalisation could do it your city, town or rural community too. I've seen ghost towns in rural Texas. Queensland's Bob Katter is one of the few Aussie politicians who understands the Dark Side of globalisaton.
