Despite the insanity of what globalisation has done and continues to do to America, the people are very friendly towards Aussies.
That's probably because we're the only people who like them (despise their many faults) and people my age remember big naval battles to Australia's north where many US sailors died trying to halt the Imperial Japanese Navy and Army's relentless southwards advance.
I was part-raised on my uncle's Gippsland cattle farm where he taught me to ride a horse and would read me Banjo Paterson's poems by the light of a big kerosene lamp. I'm 73 and this video fulfills one of my Bucket List's fondest wishes: to cowboy up and ride the range in Texas.
