Amigos, don't worry about the method of mining. SXG will probably follow the method used at Fosterville (about 60 km west of Sunday Creek). That is, construct a "cork screw" tunnel around the entire zone of high grade veins. This cork screw tunnel can down as far as the gold goes (I think Fosterville many be more than 1km below surface). The tunnel is reinforced with concrete, etc where necessary. Then they stope out each level, recover the ore and take it to the surface for the processing. Fosterville's "all-in-cost" is one of the lowest in the entire global gold mining industry at $350 to $450 per pounce, So, at today's gold price, that company is making a profit of about A$3,000 per ounce of gold.
