I can understand if you've never had the real thing, but you attacked what I initially said and offered absolutely no rebuttal to what I said being wrong. I'll say it again, GYG is a bad imitation of the real thing and it’s not authentic. They used to have authentic Mexican taqueria in the name and considering it was a blatant lie since it’s neither of those things, I wonder why they removed it?

Guzman y Gomez was established by Steven Marks, a New Yorker who previously worked as a hedge fundmanager. After relocating to Australia, he found the quality of Mexican food to be poor and decided to start a restaurant.[3]He has stated that "real Mexican is really urban, street and hot [...] Latin people are so full of energy and full of life, we wanted to bring that to Australia".

I wouldn't be complaining if what he provided was exactly those things, but he hasn't. As a former Wall Street guy I'm not surprised he's going in for a massive cash grab IPO and will no doubt leave behind a whole lot of bag holders.
