There are many aspects of religion that are difficult to accept but none harder than need of gods to be glorified and worshiped.

I can acknowledge that any gods, if they exist, are superior to me in thought.

However, I don't want or need worship or glorification from my children or even animals, so why would a god require those things.

Aren't they more the things you'd expect from some power crazy, simple-minded, sociopath ?

The same goes for the idea that someone dying somehow restores a relationship between two others, and that it forgives their sins.

I'm unsure how even primitive peoples could fall for that scam.

Give me a logical premise and you might win me, but not with that tripe.
