Hi bugts1, thanks for that. For many years, I've valued your well reasoned and mostly bullish comments on RMD and by extension RMD.AX, on Yahoo Finance conversations. Over that time (10+ years) the RMD sp has risen very nicely, but always maintained a relatively high PE. That was because of excellent forward looking future growth in business earnings, due to the high assessed number of untreated patients (the ones likely to benefit from RMD's sleep and respiratory tech). I agree with your concerns about the potential impacts of Glucogen-Like-Peptides on RMD, as even if these drugs take a long time (eg 12 months) to come into common use - and without adverse side effects popping up (new drugs never have unforeseen adverse side effects lol) - they will probably take some business away from RMD. How much is the question. But with RMD having a historically high PE - based on continuing to tap into the constantly large population of new patients with untreated respiratory disorders - it pains me to say (my whole portfolio was and is overly top heavy with RMD.AX) that RMD's sp may never reach the same heights of the past 2-3 years. Or I could be wrong.
