It doesn't matter who's making the magnets, point is, the world, including China, needs rare earths and Lynas is already match fit. Why wouldn't the US want a proven producer to set up shop right now? And if they don't, their loss. Amanda was clear that the separation plant/s will get built, with or without government funding and whether in the US or elsewhere. Personally, I'd like to see something right here in Oz. The demand that was forecast for later, is already here. The greatest challenge, and opportunity, for Lynas right now is to fast track the increase in supply capacity. Lynas 2025? Nup, more like Lynas right now.
