I'm about sick of all these wheat diseases these days. And the fungicides that come with it. I will be happy to grow GM wheat that are resistant to disease.
I am concerned about roundup ready crops though. Conservation tillage is much more important in Oz than anywhere else and I think roundup ready will just speed up roundup resistant weeds. Roundup is too important to lose.
Things looking OK here, especially out west where the drought has been worst.
