While I am quietly confident all will be well...the issue I have is that a business contract was entered into by two parties, with business acumen, with specific deadlines and those deadlines came and went. Were there any clauses in there that allowed such a huge variation in date with no penalty? Surely if those deadlines were broadcast to us both parties would have taken into account things like public holidays or liquidating assets to raise the cash, or whatever else anyone has suggested, when signing or agreeing to a specified timeframe. It seems that any contracted dates that they had mean nothing. Was it just a handshake agreement? The delay makes no sense or contractual obligations mean nothing.
