Not all oz's are of equal value - a lot of SBM's endowment is of questionable economic value - a lot of its "refractory ore" has no processing solution.
It takes 95 minutes to get ore from Gwalia depths to the surface ... and then it needs to travel horizontally to a plant - it has to be high grade !
KOTH on the other hand is high grade (for an open pit) and is cheek by jowl with its state of the art, low cost processing plant.
Chalice has very large (nickel) ore resources which unfortunately is not economic, and hence its SP is in free fall.
Congrats to RF - 1st SAR and now GMD - if he can con the market into buying him out of GMD then he's the next Twiggy.
HC opinion wont convince hard heads - GMD is not the next Saracen.
