I post because I analyse a lot. I turn over a lot of rocks to find gems, so to speak. Technically and Fundamentally. Most days I come up empty. So I end up throwing all that work into a directory for posterity. Sometimes I share it in HC but I really don't bother so much these days. Chart or two the fundamentals of a cornerstone here and there...
For speculative most are free carried after 12 months. Greatly reduced cost base on an asset for portfolio cornerstones. EVN is a good example at the start of the current run I had 100,000 shares in EVN, 9 years and counting on that parcel. After a few successful free carry trades I now have 133,000 EVN shares with a holding cost now very close to zero.... wash rinse repeat or just leave it to compound in the portfolio for eternity. Not in the mood to pay a hefty CGT in the next decade or two. So leaving it in there. I will cross that CGT bridge when I get to it.
I own BC8 free carried and a whole host of smaller mining companies. They are under my 3 kids (under 10) and the wife's trading accounts. Legally they are not mine anymore and they will need to pay the CGT on it when they come of age and sell. Hope they appreciate it one day
I trade for free using TA, review the fundamentals every quarter.
