Surprising that GMD is only up around +1.8% today. Most gold miners are up twice that or more...
Not that surprising when 78m shares of liquidity are locked in shorts. That might as well be on escrow! Traders also hesitant to touch GMD with such a large 7% short position hanging over its head.
I'm not holding my breath for a short squeeze. Honestly this is way past that kind of trade. I just want shorts to close out their positions on GMD that way liquidity improves.
