I don't think they can cover their positions even if they wanted to. At 3.6m shares available "on market" sell side, they would need 21.3m times available to cover 76.25m shares in shorts.

I'm here LT. The other gold mining shares in the portfolio NST/SAR and EVN have been there for a decade or so. GMD is there to add some fresh gold mining blood in the portfolio. Happy to hold this for decades.
