    As has been previously discussed, there's absolutely no reason why they would give "guidance" on the distribution.

    A-REITs have to comply with market rules like everyone else, which means they have to disclose the distribution amount ahead of the record date. In the case of A-REITs like GMG that have a record date at the end of their reporting period, that means they have to announce the distibution a few days before the end of that reporting period.

    Because the reporting period has not ended (by a few days) at this point they have to use the terminology they use.

    As before, look at the announcements from previous years. It's just how it works.

    Seriously... it's getting old.
