adds - that is an interesting factor that ING has a big position in IIF. I'll put a post on IIF asking if anybody there knows the situation re ING providing an underwritten RI, as they may not be able to do so due to mandatory / creeping acquisition rules, and so need to dilute their ownership in a bad case.
If ING could wrap up a big deal themselves, including providing some debt, this could be good for them. I'm still nto convinced IIF unit holders and ING are in the same boat, but am interested in the issue.
