    a more accurate answer is that the northern goldfields district get some of the effects of the wet season further north in the summer.. often the northern goldfields gets inundated, but relatively rarely.. exploration in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions generally take off nov-mar to avoid the wet fwiw.
