At the risk of being somewhat controversial, I wouldn't go near FMJ with a barge pole. I have followed the company since listing and, in my opinion, it is a triumph of spin over substance.
The assets that the company self-describes as "the new global force in potash" are tenements that were last drilled by the Russians in the 1960's. And the company doesn't own these assets directly, but rather through a series of deals with other companies and a mysterious Hong Kong businesswoman named Madame Cheung. Then there is the colorful background of certain company directors...
Each to their own, and this is purely my opinion, but I am very happy to have my money invested in GMM. Although I would take a repeat of FMJ's share price chart - that is, the part before it dived from $3.98.
