yes, but the handheld devices like these and XRFs are just used as a guide for spot checks on samples due to their wildly inaccurate readings. They have little weight in determining quality of overall drill hole unfotunately and their inputs are not recognised under the JORC code at all. I remember GMN got in trouble for this back in PNG some years ago. They had to resubmit an announcement and clarify that the XRF reading was not to be treated with importance
