I figured that the '30314.4 ppm 5284.1 ppm' displayed would be a range of high to low (so approx 3% to 0.5%). Take this info with caution because we don't know what the sample is from. I was also unable to confirm that the displayed reading is a range of high to low numbers, even after looking at the Sci-Aps usage data on their website. The analyzer gun is a SciAps Z-901, is used for lithium quantitative analysis, and uses a laser-based (LIBS) technology, very different to the XRF (xray fluorescence) guns they also produce.
As @silkroad88 says these kind of readings can be wildly inaccurate so I suggest that no-one should use it for trading evidence.
