The case in WA isn't about the safety or otherwise of the GMO product.
It's about the right of a farmer, to grow and sell organic food, should he so wish, without suffering loss or harm from an adjacent famer using GMO product.
Life is all about freedom of choice, and do no harm to others, and a man's home is his castle.
So, if you are minding your own business and someone else impacts on you in some way, don't you think you're entitled to either resist, or be protected by the law?
Not in this case, so far anyway. Thus the appeal.
Don't muddy the waters re GMO - it's a different issue to the case being appealed here.
