    Eyeman you make a valid point and one which many seem to overlook. Social media has changed the way public relations and advertising providers approach their roles, yet many are still to adapt to the dashboard metric approach to information deliverables.

    Reporting on a conference, trade fair or roadshow isn't difficult and clearly shows that many companies are still coming to grips with an information age that demands more data. Perhaps GMV could have reported a bit on the foot fall of actual attendees, the ratio of doctors versus other medical attendees visiting their stall, frequency of question topics and a whole lot more. Not a lot of work needed to achieve such data and it would show that they gather evidence for future provision. However, we don't see that kind of data from many companies to be honest. Do they collect it? They should, because data collection represents a change in business modelling in a data driven society.

    GMV are at the forefront in terms of their products, but I for one, would like to see improvement in how they report and what data is delivered. Monthly reports are not important, it's the content and how they detail the info that matters.
