It would be strange for an update to come out now given the 4C is likely to come out in a few weeks. Of course, they could release the 4C at the same time (don't have to wait until end of month) if they wanted to. But historically, their 4C's have come towards the back end of the month for GMV.
If an update is going to be provided without the 4C, I would assume that there would be something worthwhile to announce (opposed to just basic progress report).
It would be odd to say that everything is ticking along nicely two weeks before 4C is released.
