OTC markets are generally unregulated and thus the market makers can do whatever they like.
By moving a stock by such large amounts places them in the top 5 movers both up and down on the market. This volatility is used to draw interest to the stock and entice traders.
Anyway, I wouldn't take any notice of these OTC markets until you see volumes over 1m shares. Furthermore, most retails brokers in Australia don't trade in these markets. And given the stock is largely held by retail the ability of anyone to convert and then sell there stock in the US is extremely low. Couple that with the huge costs involved and I'm pretty sure we will never see any volume.
Unless, the stock is upgraded to the Nasdaq with associated capital raising on that market.
