No worries. Well, to my knowledge, there is no provision specifically relating to email distribution of the top 20. A lot of companies are happy to oblige and do so without any issue. I could name several I have had cooperation from. Some companies, however, may be cautious given the ease with which one can 'imitate' another person online and gain access to said info. In fact, I think Hot Copper technically is not allowed nor permits top 20 lists (except those disclosed by a company in its reports) being published , for some of the potential risks alluded to in that ASIC commentary.
However, if you were to arrange to inspect in person at their registered offices - which changed from Cayman Islands to the US last November if I'm not mistaken - then they would be obliged to comply with those requirements. Presumably your ID is vetted at that time, so they would also be in a more 'secure' position to supply a copy afterwards.
