Something is better than nothing, right?
So why aren't we all beaming like kids the day before Christmas?
Because this F1 is still nothing.
In fact, it's a draft of nothing.
When we point out the details, we are reminded that it's only a draft.
And it's a draft covered in coffee stains, dog bites and lazy cut-and-pastes.
And how many times have we seen a draft F1 from this outfit that didn't get across the line? Didn't even show up at the stadium? Only to be followed by silence?
But something's better than nothing, right?
So why aren't the kids more grateful, when daddy says he'll visit on Christmas? He says he will! And this time he means it!
The draft F1 means the company has issued a draft promise, that they intend to cry wolf, again, at some unspecified time in the future.
Excuse us for not getting hopes up.

As for the substance -- why aren't we delighted that a company with apparent MC of $400M in October 2020, is now saying, in March 2021, that MC is $40M? Why aren't we delighted about a mere 90% reduction in MC, during a year with the Covid windfall for medical monitoring? From a company that promised exponential growth in 2H 2020? You'd have to be some kind of psychological profiler to work out why on earth we aren't celebrating. Because something is better than nothing, right?

If you ran a company -- would you have your slogan be: "GMV. Because Something is Better Than Nothing."
And then at the bottom of the page, smeared with a fingertip, in gravy:
"PS This Is Only Our Draft Slogan."

This is nothing against you Razi. Your post has been uniquely accurate -- a uniquely valuable contribution here. That's probably why it got moderated so fast. I believe you when you say MC will pan out to $40-45M.
But are you really surprised why, humans who've gone through the GMV experience, might not high-five about that?
