    But there are too many variables involved.

    Port Shipped from (WA is closer to enjoy around a $3 dollar premium (ie less) than east coast)
    Multi ports - its costs around on average 100k to bring a ship into and out of an Aussie Port - these rates do vary quite a bit.
    Size of shipment - the smaller the shipment size, the bigger the freight.
    Export ports - there will many premiums to shipping rates if for instance a port is unable to receive cargo, and vessel has to wait off port. (Demurrage rates)

    As it would have it - one of my 'intermediate' occupations was working for and with a chartering company, when i learned a very simple fact - analyse the risk for that shipment - and wherever the % risk was, triple it. And that was when times were stable !!!
