    The left-wing 'The Age' tonight (online) leads with this headline and synopsis:

    (I'm not passing comment on whether it's correct - just including it FYI):

    Extreme weather

    The deluge is breaking, but the dreaded dry El Nino could return

    Balmy or bushfires? There is a 50/50 chance of an El Nino weather system next summer, which can bring drought, heatwaves and bushfires.

    The Bureau of Meteorology says the intense rainfalls brought on by La Nina are breaking down, but there’s a chance the climate cycle could flip by the end of the year.
