yes, I agree mostly.... thing is, not sure if anyone has done the work in how much of NSW and Vic cropping is the light soils that need your say September to November finishing rains ( Sept in Northern NSW)
....I believe most of tonnage is normally from heavy soil areas, and many of the lighter soils the crops are in more reliable rainfall areas also I think, which does coincide somewhat with the northern NSW and southern or southeastern NSW lines too
love to be corrected or educated about this more, though I don't think it is crucial to Graincorps seasonal outlook as I feel it is good still irrespective of a dry finish in light soil areas
