    As a grower I tend to disregard longer term forecast given the lack of accuracy I have seen. We are only in the early stages of El Nino meaning less chance of the predictable weather patterns associated with the phenomenon. As we enter further into the El Nino the chance increases of dry weather/hot days for our EC although not guaranteed (fingers crossed). The below link shows where we are at currently on number of indices against previous top El Nino events which I find interesting. I'm yet to confirm how often we get to this stage and it reverses back to La Nina
