Communist China needs these imported grains; Russia wants to hobble Ukraine so Russia's export receipts can increase, and as we know above has already destroyed a little of Ukraine's handling infrastructure; Turkey is not pleased; Egypt (world's largest what importer) is battling 60 per cent inflation; global food security; Russia wants to throw its diplomatic weight around.
As always, DYOR. Outcomes could range from some quickly found solution to ongoing tensions and even riots in nations away from the Ukraine-Russia axis.
