Ok fair point but it is far too late to be sowing now anyway, and the rains west of the great dividing range have been nothing like the flooding on the NSW coast, so I don't think we have seen so much rain that it would significantly reduce yield, at least in the most important cropping areas.
All the signs so far are pointing to another bumper crop for eastern Australia (famous last words, I know)
