A couple of months later with Queensland sorghum crops having been adversely affected by substantial rain just at the wrong time.

But for the normally far more important winter 2024 grain crops, rainfall in southern Queensland and usually much higher volume Victoria and NSW has come at a welcome time, though some areas such as Goondiwindi in Qld and perhaps Moree in northwest NSW have flooding.

While merely a few cents - $0.055 - it's encouraging that the GNC SP is rising a bit more to around A$8.53, given what at this preparatory stage is quite a good outlook for winter 2024. As always, DYOR.
