I had this huge dissertation written on GNC and I lost it.

Basically, Bunge spends $20mm in geelong to build 8,000 tonne of storage and loading facility.

Based on this fact I value GNC's geelong port vertical and horizontal storage and loader in the vicinity of $500mm.

GNCs total book value of all assets is like $850mm, they have repeatedly stated in their financial reports that their assets are at book and potentially worth a lot more.

ADM will be coming back, new ceo will either need to embrace the 25% + shareholder in ADM or in my view hive off the port assets and buy another asset overseas or return the cash to shareholders.

As an aside I find it interesting that Australian cockeys are now apparently cheering the fact the Bunge is providing competition by adding rival port capcity. Not that long ago the farmers were whinging about GNC being sold to a foreigner like GNC was some sort of charity for their personal use and prices would go up. Well that being the case and you now supporting a rival of GNC who is not even Australian owned, you should not have any issues with ADM taking over GNC on the same pretense as Bunge? GNC is not a charity picking up grain at marginal sites and the like because that is what they did in 1932 when your grandfather was using a sunshine harvester. It is 2014 and all farmers who don't like it need to move on. You have sown the seeds of the ADM takeover in the first place complaining about high prices and more competition, well you have it now.

In summary, ADM will be back, they won't be admonished this time, Australian grain production will increase a lot in 2015/16 due to lower AUD and this all is good for GNC.

This is just my opinion don't rely on it as I am very biased and my research is not even 100% accurate ok.
