GNM has gotten heat from some on HC for their paid promotional activities (whether via Twitter, S T O C K H E A D, podcasts, AFR etc) but I personally think it’s a good thing. The universe of microcap companies is huge and it’s easy to get overlooked.

Most people have short attention spans so it’s critical microcap companies communicate regularly with investors to attract eyeballs and dollars. If a company is kicking goals but they can’t or won’t communicate it investors won’t be interested. I’ve been invested in good companies where management “let the numbers do the talking” and they have frequently underperformed their peer group due to a lack of effective IR/comms.
That’s my view anyway.

The historical gold mines GNM bought have produced 150,000 Oz historically but have only been mined to about 30m deep based on company disclosures and that was when gold was selling for ~$450/oz back in the 90s. The economics have completely changed since then and the recent drill results suggest there is potential for a decent resource there.
