Take comfort, mega and all conservation-minded. The Como battery will only accelerate the retirement of ff generators in Qld as less 'spin' will be needed to ensure grid stability. While 50Mw/75Mwh might not sound much, it is all on the margin, displacing the most marginal generator earlier - almost certainly an inflexible coal plant.
